“Shake it Up Cafe…Where kids carry out God’s Recipe”
This year’s Vacation Bible School is about how God’s people celebrate and remember God and His plans for us. A registration form is included in this month’s edition of the Pres Press as well as available on our website. The dates are Monday through Friday, June 20 – 24, from 9:00 am until 11:30 am.
Please check the poster in the lobby outside the Academy and church offices and if you can help bring one or more of the items listed. All aluminum 1# (small) coffee cans with lids are needed for making the delicious Bible School Bread as well. Please bring the donations on or before June 17th.
We will have bread making and a VBS quilt to add to our walls along with music, stories, games and discovery science activities. We will end the week of VBS fun with a church wide supper on Friday evening at 5:30 pm. This will also be our first “Wednesday Night Supper” of the summer. A slide show of activities and samples of the children’s crafts will also be presented. Volunteers are still needed! Greeters for the morning arrival, set up and clean up help and “extra hands” during snack and craft activities. I am certain this will be the most delicious VBS ever!
