Results from out last Blood Drive
The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center and area patients who need blood, have thanked us for our blood drive. Our blood drive results on Sunday, May 6, were as follows:
Donors: 16
Whole Blood:12
Double Red Cell: 3
Total Products: 18
Deferrals: 1
We had several people that were under the weather and a couple of no shows. The numbers should have been better. However, every little bit helps.
The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center depends on donor groups such as ours to participate in the Commit for Life group program to supply blood products to the patients in our community. They and the many patients needing blood appreciate our efforts!
