The Bible from Scratch!
Have you ever been invited by a friend or someone to attend a Bible study group
and you thought of many excuses not to go because you were sure you would
feel out of place?
Have you ever been in church and tried to look up the scripture lesson of the
day but you weren’t quite sure how to do it?
Have you been talking with someone who knows so much from the Bible that
you feel intimidated and embarrassed about how little you know?
Have you ever wanted to have an overall understanding of how the Bible is
put together but have no idea where to start?
IF you have answered any of the above questions with a “yes,” then it may be that you are the one for a new small group that is forming this Fall at SBPC! It is called “The Bible From Scratch!” and we are going to start with the New Testament. Our first meeting is on Sunday, September 23rd, 12:30pm until 1:30pm in the Conference Room. Bring your Bible and a sandwich and join us! Drinks and chips will be provided! This small group will be limited to ten participants so please sign up in the church office to get your book! The group facilitators are Laurey Murphy and Joy Mitcham. Got questions? Just ask one of them!
