Hurricane Isaac Response
As Hurricane Isaac continues to impact the Gulf Coast, Presbyterians are preparing to help.
As of now, 800,000 people are without power in Louisiana and another 200,000 in Mississippi. Interstate 10 and Interstate 12 are closed! Thousands have evacuated their homes.
Here are two ways you can help!
- Presbyterian Disaster Assistance is asking for funds to purchase flood clean-up buckets. Each costs $56.00. Details
- After the water recedes (which is predicted to take two weeks), there will be a need for volunteers to help in the cleanup. For details, you can reach the PDA call center at (866) 732-6121.
