CUPS: Our Mission to Mexico
Louise from CUPS is visiting with us on Sept. 23rd and has asked if we could possibly collect some items for her to take to Mexico:
- Adult diapers
- Spiral notebooks
Chuck will place a bin near the office for these items this weekend. Please post to our Facebook page if you see either of these items on sale in the next two weeks!
You might recall that several of our youth and adults went on a mission trip with CUPS last June. It was a wonderful experience for all.
Don’t know about CUPS?
CUPS is a Christian organization founded in 1989 to improve the quality of life in rural communities along the Mexico-U.S. border. Maximizing the use of capital and human resources, CUPS unites mission trip volunteers with the people of Mexican and U.S. communities in projects that touch the lives of thousands of people. Health and education projects are a primary focus, and these are designed to meet community defined needs. Other humanitarian projects and programs, such as disaster reflief, are also important in our work.
