Help SBISD kids go back to school!
During August, SBPC will be collecting donations for MAM’s Back to School campaign. MAM is collecting donations for school supplies and school uniform vouchers. Most SBISD schools have a dress code. MAM takes the donated money and enters agreements with local stores (Target, Academy, Fiesta) to provide uniforms (white polo top; khaki or navy pants, shorts, or skirts; white socks; tennis shoes) in return for vouchers. MAM distributes the vouchers to needy families through school counselors or nurses. A $50 donation will provide a complete uniform for a child. MAM’s goal this year is to provide 5,900 vouchers. Write a check to the church with MAM Back to School in the memo field, or donate at the table in the breezeway.
