Our theme throughout Advent and Christmas
Our theme throughout Advent and Christmas is “The World is About to Turn” from Rory Cooney’s song “The Canticle of the Turning.” On this second Sunday after Christmas Day, we will focus for the final time on this song. Today, we will focus on “Let the Fires of Your Justice Burn.” The Magi, in an act of justice, “went another way” after meeting the Christ child, instead of reporting back to King Herod. Christ’s life embodied how we are to seek justice, love kindness, and walk humble with our God. Let us be mindful of how God’s “fires of justice” are burning today.
