Help community children with shoes for school!
Recently, there was a devastating fire at the Gentry House apartments in our neighborhood. John Knox Presbyterian Church is providing Payless Shoes gift cards for each of the students (to be distributed by their schools), as many of them are going into the school year with nothing. This is an urgent effort, so contributions need to be received by Tuesday, Aug. 18th! $20 gift cards OR cash or check contributions can be dropped off at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 2525 N. Gessner, Houston, TX 77080. Please make checks payable to Rev. Becky Downs.
