SAVE FOR BEST-PLACES. LIVE OAK FRIENDS MEETING HOUSE -- Inside the meeting area at the Live Oak Friends Meeting House, 1318 West 26th, photographed Tuesday evening, November 27, 2001. The benches are white oak mounted on bleached pine flooring, but the centerpiece is artist James Turrell's Skyspace which is a 12 foot-square opening directly over the center of the meeting room. The roof covering the Skyspace is retractable providing an opening to the sky. Tubes of neon which are out of sight fill the opening with a profound blue light. (Smiley N.
