“Disaster Preparedness” is the Mission of the Month for September. If a tornado warning is issued for your area: 1) Get In – Seek shelter inside a sturdy building immediately; go to an interior room on the lowest floor possible; 2) Get Low– Get low to the ground, and if possible, put on a bicycle helmet to protect you from flying debris; 3) Hold On – Hold on to something sturdy, like a heavy piece of furniture, and wait for the tornado to pass.
