A PET in Action
Roberto Carlos Medrano Acuna lives in Gonzalez Villareal. He is 16 years old and has been unable to walk since birth due to cerebral palsy. He received his PET in early September from the parents of Miguel Morales. The PET (Personal Energy Transportation) was donated to him in the name of CUPS, PET RGV, Mission, the Matamoros Nonprofit Organization, and the Miguel Morales Foundation.
This is one of the PETs made by Spring Branch PC and Bethel PC in June. CUPS has facilitated the donation of 30 PETs in the municipios of Matamoros, Valle Hermoso, and San Fernando since in Feb. 2010. Blessed are the hands that helped to make mobility an option for so many in Mexico. Other PETs made in June were distributed in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas.
