Don’t forget… “I Know Nothing Class” on July 21
There has been a request to have a time where people that “know nothing” about the Bible, church, etc. can learn things in a comfortable setting.
Therefore, Patti Nanney will be leading 2 sessions — one July 21 and one August 18. The class will be in the Conference Room and begin after the worship service at 12:15pm and go to 1pm or as long as people want it to go. Lunch will be provided.
July 21 Session: • Review general timeline of Bible • Bible “Fun Facts” • How do you read the Bible • Where do you start • Top 50 Bible passages to read
August 18 Session: • Discuss the church seasons, meanings, colors, major symbols • Each person receives a church liturgical calendar • Discuss why church calendar is different than our regular calendar
