Easter Sunday, April 4th Outdoor Worship: “People of Hope, Part 1: This Changes Everything”
Please join us for an Outdoor Worship Service in the parking lot tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM! Come share in the Word, music, and socially distant fellowship as we celebrate our risen Lord.
This will not be the same as our previous parking lot services. You are invited to worship where you feel comfortable. If you prefer to worship from inside your vehicle, we ask that you park in the back two rows of the parking lot. If you would prefer to sit outside, please find a socially distanced area in front of those worshiping from their cars. Those worshiping from chairs are asked to park in the west end of the main parking lot (by the playground) and walk to the front. For the sake of comfortability, we recommend that you bring your own chairs from home. For those unable to do so, we will have plastic lawn chairs available.
We will have a guest joining us to give a special music presentation. Meet Christina Wells!
Christina Wells is a singer, actress, and inspirational speaker from Houston, TX. After years of caring for others as a single mother and registered nurse, Christina gained national stardom as a semi-finalist on America’s Got Talent. Her passion is to entertain and inspire the world with her powerhouse voice and her heartfelt message of hope and love. Christina is very excited to be sharing this Easter Sunday with Spring Branch Presbyterian Church.
The service will be streamed live at www.facebook.com/springbranchpres. After the service has concluded, the video will remain as a post on the Spring Branch Presbyterian Church Facebook page. You do not have to have a Facebook account to view this video. By early afternoon on Sunday, the service video will be accessible on our YouTube page.
Attached below is a copy of our Bulletin for tomorrow morning. We will have copies available for worshipers attending in-person. If you are attending virtually, you may print the Bulletin or follow along on your smartphone.
We are very excited to announce that we will have a live Time For Young Disciples this week! We look forward to seeing all of the children of the church. Everyone that comes forward for the Time For Young Disciples should be wearing a mask.
Should you need a restroom, the Sanctuary Narthex bathrooms will be available.
As you leave the parking lot, we will be accepting donations for Spring Branch Presbyterian Church & for the One Great Hour of Sharing Offering. We will also be accepting donations for the Fair Haven Food Pantry (non-perishable food items, cleaning supplies, paper products, and plastic grocery bags). We are also continuing to accept thank you cards for our dedicated Houston healthcare workers. Per the request of the hospitals, please do not seal the envelopes.
We hope to see you there!
Blessings, Spring Branch Presbyterian Church
