God’s Promise: I Am With You
All SBPC women are invited to a short introductory meeting at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 9, in the parlor to discuss the possibility of having the Horizons Bible study on “God’s Promise: I Am with You,” through monthly Zoom conference calls; dates/times to be determined by participants. You may participate on Zoom on your computer or phone. Please watch the Introduction to this study, given by the author, Rev. Any Poling Sutherlun from FPC/San Marcos, TX. Through the study, one will “discover how God’s promise speaks to our circumstances, as individuals and as a community. We will be encouraged to know of God’s presence with us wherever we find ourselves on this life’s journey—through uncertainty and discouragement; during trials and times of powerlessness; when we seek God’s guidance and yes, during our everyday lives.”
Patti Nanney will facilitate the first of the nine lessons in a Zoom call to be scheduled later in September. This lesson is on “God with Us Wherever We Are,” from Genesis 26: 1-6; 28: 10-22.
