Hand Made Items for Hospitals

The Happy Hands group will be meeting through the summer on June 29, July 27, and August 24 at 9:30 AM in the conference room to cut, stuff, and sew heart pillows for the hospitals.

This group has been really busy this year!  Since January they have turned into Common Threads for hospital delivery 1022 sewn pillows (Thanks to Thelma Stockton), 61 bears (Thanks to Pat Bederman), 138 bed & wheel chair bags (Thanks to Bonnie Laverty), 207 baby caps, 21 scarves, 43 blankets, and 6 quilts (Thanks to all the members).

Come join us at a meeting and help to stuff and sew about 50 of the sewn hearts so they will be ready for hospital delivery.  If you don’t like working with a needle & thread anyone can help stuff the fiberfill into the pillows.  You can even watch Betty Dallmann, Dorothy Savage, Pat Mahoney, and Beth Morris use their Happy Hands to knit.
