First Sunday in Lent, March 6th: “It’s So Easy To…”
Good Morning,
Join us tomorrow morning at 9:30 and 10:50 for Sunday School and Worship! Our Guest Pastor this Sunday is Rev. Lynn Hargrove. Rev. Lynn Hargrove has served as the Stated Clerk of the Presbytery of New Covenant for the past six years. Previously she was the pastor at St. Giles, and has served in several congregations in the Houston area. She met her husband, Bill, while she was a student at Trinity University. They have two children, and two grand girls. She enjoys playing Words with Friends, Skip-Bo, and other card games, and is learning the art form known as Zentangle.
We will be partaking of the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper this week, both in-person and remotely. If you are attending in-person, you will receive your Elements when you arrive for Worship. If you are attending remotely, please gather your Elements prior to sitting down for Worship. Rev. Lynn will consecrate all Elements as part of our Worship Service together.
By attending, you are agreeing to follow the guidelines set forth for a safe return. Those guidelines are available at: www.springbranchpres.org/covid-19-guidelines.
Per CDC guidelines, all worshipers are encouraged to wear masks. Those who haven’t been vaccinated against COVID-19 for a minimum of 14 days are required to wear masks.
Attached below is the Bulletin for tomorrow morning. We will have printed copies for those attending in-person. If you are attending virtually, you may print the Bulletin, or follow along on your smartphone.
Every Sunday morning, from 9:30 to 10:30, a Zoom option for Sunday School is offered. Jim Kunkel is leading a study focused on David as we move through 1 Samuel and 2 Samuel. All seeking this option are invited to attend. Contact Carol Davis to be added to the Zoom invitation each Sunday.
Every week, the service will be streamed live to the SBPC YouTube channel. You can access the direct link for the March 6th Worship Service stream here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=se5SU-Vnlcc.
Blessings, Spring Branch Presbyterian Church
