Make A Difference this weekend and make a dress for a girl!

Posted on October 21, 2014

This October 25th, millions of volunteers across the nation will unite with a common mission – to improve the lives of others. For more than 20 years, USA WEEKEND Magazine, in collaboration with Points of Light, has brought you Make A Difference Day, the largest national day of community service.

What are we doing at SPBC?

Come and lend a hand Saturday, October 25, 2014, 9:00am-2:00 pm in The Gathering Place to assist in putting  together pillowcase dresses for underprivileged girls in faraway places.

You do not have to be a pro, if you can cut, or measure, pin or iron you are who we are looking for. Donations are also always welcome. New or gently used clean pillow cases that are not see-through, wide seam binding, ½”-wide elastic.  Please contact Rhonda Hill or Kay Craig with questions.  Lunch will be provided.
