“Martin Luther on Trial”
“Martin Luther on Trial” will be performed by the Fellowship for Performing Arts national theater company at the A.D. Players Theater (near the Galleria) from Oct. 19-29. “Even as 2017 marks the 500 years since Luther ignited the Protestant Revolt against Rome. He continues to spark intense debate. You be the judge in this witty, provocative exploration of one of history’s most explosive personalities and the religious and political controversies he unleashed.” Lucifer, Hitler, Freud, M.L. King, Jr., and Pope Francis are some of the witnesses at the trial for the soul of Martin Luther; the prosecutor is the Devil. Matinees are Oct. 21st, 22nd, 28th and 29th. Evening performances are Oct 19-21 and Oct. 24-28. Contact Carol Davis at caroldavis@entouch.net by Tuesday, Oct. 10 so a date and time can be selected for those interested in attending.
