What is Messy Church?

It is a worship service open to all, but particularly attractive to those in our neighborhoods that are looking for ways to experience God that are a little more intergenerational, interactive, and informal than what is typically found in our city’s churches.

A weeknight service might look like this:

• Welcome time – people gathering informally
• Crafts/science/games/mission/activities that are centered around a single biblical theme
• Celebration – songs, scripture, and a short little talk that pulls together all of the activities
• A meal to share and continue the conversation
• Suggested activities to engage with at home
