Special Topics’ Class Starting November 1st in the Bridge Room
Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End, by Atul Gawande, is the anchor book for a Special Topics’ class beginning Sunday, November 1st. In his accessible narrative, Gawande explores through stories the roles and goals of medicine and the desires of individuals facing end of life concerns. Not a study of paperwork and checklist, rather this will be a fluid, open study of choices and relationships. You are invited to join us in the Bridge Room (classroom across from the Youth Room and next to the Children’s Sunday School Room) at 9:30. Books will be provided.
