Adult Sunday School
Adult Sunday School classes are held in the Education Building at 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Prior to the Sunday School time there is a friendly fellowship time in the church parlor with coffee and doughnut holes available. Join us about 9:15 a.m. to get your coffee and share in some interesting discussions. If you are new to the Sunday School, we gladly will direct you to a Sunday School that might fit your interests.
The Explorers Sunday School Class
With an average attendance of 18-20, this class is made up of people of many ages ranging from 30’s to 80’s, and includes people with doctorates and those with high school educations. We are all on a journey to study the Bible, book by book, studying the scriptures in context. Our leaders facilitate lively discussions. We bring our own Bibles, so we have several translations and commentaries to add to our discussion. This approach keeps biblical stories and ideas in context. The Explorers’ meet in the Education Building, Room 101, and is led by Linda Crawford, Matt Dikeman, and Jim Kunkel.
Saints Under Construction Bible Study
This class meets in the Sanctuary in the Garden Room. The discussion-oriented class focuses on what each of us can learn from the weekly Bible scriptures to build upon in strengthening our faith. Patti Nanney leads the class.
