Thanks for Joy Offering
This week Lavon received a telephone call from Barbara at the Louisville, Kentucky Presbyterian headquarters. She wanted to convey to all the members how much our Joy Offering was appreciated. The Joy Offering which is taken during the Christmas season goes to retired ministers and others employed by the PCUSA as missionaries, CE’s etc. Sort of like a bonus from the church they served.
