The Nominating Committee Needs YOU!
Your help is needed! The Nominating Committee is seeking discernment in whom God is calling to serve the church as an Elder on the Session.
The Elders are the leaders of a congregation to 1) strengthen and nurture the faith and life of the congregation; 2) encourage people in worship and serving God 3) equip and renew people for their calling with the church and their mission in the world 4) visit and comfort and care for the people especially the poor, the sick, the lonely and the oppressed.
** Elders must be willing to meet on a monthly basis for session meeting, serve on a Ministry team and serve as a Shepherd to assigned members of the church. There is a required training for all who are elected to serve before being installed in June. **
Please turn in your suggestions for elders to the Church Office by Monday, November 16th.
