The Season of Peace
Season of Peace begins Sunday– and with all that is going on around the world, its arrival couldn’t be more timely! We will conclude the season of Peace by giving the Peace and Global Witness offering (see insert) on World Communion Sunday (Oct. 4th). As we move from ordinary time in the Church to the season of Advent, we remember that Jesus was sent “to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor” (Luke 4:18–19)- Let us follow in His footsteps!
