Sunday, June 25th: “When God Builds A Family”
Good Morning,
Our Guest Pastor for Sunday morning is Rev. Christopher D. Barnes! Chris is a native of Houston, TX. Being raised in the church at an early age, he was baptized at 4. From that moment on, Chris served in various capacities in his local church, including as junior deacon. At 16, he prayerfully confessed his call to preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God and was licensed after his initial sermon. Chris matriculated at Texas A&M University, where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration. Upon graduation, he was then ordained. Since then, he has served several congregations in various capacities until his most recent membership at Solid Rock Baptist Church. Rev. Chris is currently enrolled at Fuller Theological Seminary, where he is pursuing a Master of Arts in Theology degree. He is married to the former Christian Nicole Stewart, and to this union was born one daughter, Sydney Zoëlle.
