Youth & Young Adult Mission Trip!
This year, we will be going to “The Stewpot,” a community outreach mission program of First Presbyterian Church, Dallas. Scheduled activities include: serving as counselors each day at a camp for inner city/at-risk children, serving meals daily at a soup kitchen for the homeless, working at a day care center for children who are homeless, volunteering at an Alzheimer’s unit, leading a Bible Study for individuals who are homeless, learning about urban social issues facing our communities, and applying Biblical imperatives to loving and caring for our neighbors. Any high school or college-age youth/young adults are invited! Scholarship applications and registration forms will be available in the next couple of weeks! Contact Kristi for more information!
